I need to sort out the paperwork, but I might fix it up, I purchased it as a parts truck, but So Cal steel is something that never dies, a good cleanup and a couple hundred dollars in parts from pick-n-pull and a paint job, it would be a great little run around, the interior is in great shape and the body only has a couple little dents, the worst is in the door, easy enough fix there!

Geesshh. I hate those highway "Cling-Ons." They stay right on your bumper, never pass you, speed up when you do, slow down when you do, pass the same people you do........

Why do people do that??? Do they think they won't get a ticket for speeding that way, do they assume you've got a radar detector? Why?:backoff

True dat :) I purchased it sight unseen for $500, I was a little irritated that I needed it to get another truck through a swap in CA, but it had the transmission I wanted, so what the heck, at least I can get 'er done!

So I get down there and find the place after a bit of driving and see it, not bad, I checked for the P-N-D-3-2-1 over the steering collum, then I pop the hood and check to make sure we have the same definition of "diesel engine", turns out we do, later I noticed a GM Goodwrench sticker on the drivers valve cover ;Sweet a great sign of a factory replacement new engine :sly and while installing a C-note of diesel in my tank I opened the glove box to find 10 years of maintnence recipts... someone took care of this truck :D I just can't kill it!

I wish I could go fill up right now and see what I got, sad thing is the CA 55 limit is so freaking slow it starts to lug the engine :puke: I'd do better at 60

It's always entertaining pulling a full size, I have a lowboy for cars, this isn't so low LOL

I did get a lead on a ZF5 and a 6.9 locally, we'll see what happens, I made an offer, but we'll see if he bites, this makes my 460 truck a diesel and frees up that 460 ZF5 for duty in the CC-short bed I want ;Sweet but sorry, the Blazer has a bone stock IDI, I'll convert it to J code and use the C code (light duty diesel) parts off of it to convert my 1979 Cherokee legally, kind of a two for one deal :sly then the Cherokee gets converted back to J code and turbocharged

You think a tailgater is bad of 300 miles?. Try a tailgater for 3000 plus miles. Back in 2000 I did not have my truck but I did have a 3000 mile tailgater behind my Cadillac.

Now whenever it is a nice day out and I ride the bike I have another tailgater.
