The Weak Headlight Issue

I saw a write up about the weak headlights because of the wires

Then i was cruisin through LMC and found this

IF i hook that up, will everything work normally like it does now, headlight switch and high beams and all ? Im interested in buying it if it would be all i need for when i upgrade my headlights.

I would upgrade the headlight wiring first it really is pretty simple and cheap and makes a world of difference. a buddy of mine bought some bulbs like that and they were dim compared to my normal halogens with upgraded wiring. Now i have a set of silverstar ultra premiums which dont have the "cool" blue look but i can see for a ways prob about 2x as far when i hit the brights compared to the old wiring and normal lights.

Just do the wiring. Any bulb will be about twice as bright as before.

Yeah, thats what i was talking about. Sorry about not making it more clear. I read in the tech section that the stock wiring was weak and saw that harness, i will most likly get some of those bulbs too because ill be doing the clear turn signals but i was linking that page for the harness.

I wish LMC had european headlights for the 87-91 style.. i cant find any glass lenses. my plastics cleaned up good but have a few hairline cracks

All I have ever found is stock replacement housings. No clear, no smoked, no glass.
