TACH SENSOR QUESTION

I found a tach sensor for a reasonable rpice. but it looks different than mine. Mine is a short version I guess. The other one looks like its a longer section with the flats for a wrench. Part number is E7HZ-17B384-M

is this the correct tach sensor for a 1991 F 350 7.3 IDI? And why does it look different?

I dont think it is the right sensor, I found this part number E5TZ-17B384-A I think its the correct one.

It was not the right sensor, Every part number listed here was a partial number. Thats how I found it. The correct and complete number is E5TZ-17B384-A Just FYI

I keep hearing about the parts bin, where is that located . I have looked thry the FAQS. I know it has to be on this site somewhere.

On the opening 6.9 & 7.3 forum page, right above the current threads header is "IDI Tech Articles" and go to page 2.
