Stupid tax

Just to close this out. Called a locksmith with the ID tag and $25 later I had a new key. Now for the sad part. Wife brought it home to me and I proceeded to cuss because the guy had cut another ignition key, or so I thought. Turns out, one key will do both. I would swear on a stack there were two different sets of keys in the box. I have no clue why there were two sets (square and round) when one would do it. So yes, I had a working key in my pocket and didn't know it. I guess it didn't dawn on me to try it because the original ignition key wouldn't fit in the original door lock. Stupid tax paid.

Now the search for a Dana 60 begins.

Easy way not to lose the key? Leave it in the ignition.I never lock anything, not even my house.if they want it bad enough, they're gonna get it, locked up or not.

I leave my key in the ignition everywhere I go.a thief is not gonna grab a vehicle sitting in a lot with the key in it unless they're running from the pigs.a vehicle sitting with the key in it screams "dont take me, the cops are watching".I have never had a vehicle, its contents or anything in my home stolen.reverse psychology.
