I bought my 4'x5" turnout stack from Chromeroom store on ebay for $60. That was a while ago, so I don't know what they are like today.

They had a very large variety of styles and sizes, but the turnouts were the cheapest.

I second chromeroom. I got mine on sale, $160 shipped for the pair. The local truck shop wanted $500 for a set.

Doesn't look like they sell my stacks anymore. Mine are 5"x60", the tallest I see now are 48".

A buddy of mine is taking the stacks off of his 02 dodge, I have ridden in it and I think it sounds awesome but he says it is too loud on long trips. I think it has 5 inch aussies. I know he mentioned wanting to sell them so he could buy a replacement exhaust for the truck.

I still don't get the preoccupation with stacks. Why in the ehll would You want to cut holes in the bed to run them? They eat valuable bed space, if You don't need the space, then why are You driving a truck? They sound like ass, right behind the cab. And IMO, they look plain stupid. Redneck Rice, in My book.

I had them, then I redid them, now I dont have them on. I really did like them. As far as bed space, a tool box takes up more room. I put a flat bed on my crew cab so now I have more than I did before and I rarely needed that much! lol. I liked the sound of dual stacks in my crew cab. I would think they would be A LOT louder in a regular cab, but you could always run a pass through semi "muffler" if the noise was tooo bad. I think they are a good addition to the truck, that and it put my exhaust OVER all the idiot bicyclist here in portland that like to fake cough and gag when I drive by. And no my truck does not smoke (I had to turn the screw way down to keep a worn out engine from smokeing but it doesnt)

I've only had my truck bed full only once, and that's cause I was helping a friend move. I drive a truck cause I can't pull a 3k lbs dry-weight trailer with anything less. I also don't feel safe in anything smaller than a fullsize truck - ya know what they say, "he with the most lug nuts wins"
Oh, and for the record, a spare wheel or an air tank take up a whole lot more bed space than a pair of stacks. Just saying, if your don't like something that's perfectly fine, we all got our tastes, but trying to give practical justification for your personal preferences is very pointless and kind silly at the same time... no offense

Need a 10 foot bed then... Wonder if anyone has done that - take say an ext cab truck, put a reg cab on it, and graft another front part of a bed to extend the factory 8-footer - I think that would be cool, especially on a dually truck. But, quick question - where do you keep your spare wheel, factory location under bumper? Does it not rust up there?
