I just bought a 2001 cummins and i was wondering if any one knew where i could get a set of stacks for a good reliable price? Does anyone know if a company sells the black heat treated exhaust stacks of will i have to do it on my own?

these are damn nice, but take a little while to get delivery.

Personally, I didn't like all the fittings, clamps, nuts & bolts, etc. so I just made my own from some polished 6" stainless and TIG welded everything. Since I already had 4" stainless it was easy to make the transitition up into the bed. I'll post a pic or two if you're interested in doing your own.

I was planning on makin my own too..i was just wondering if anyone sold the tips that i wanted.....thats cool youbuilt your own yea if you could post a few picks that would be great.

Thats a pretty nice set up you got there How long did that take you to make and what gaige aluminum did you use?

How long?

Well, I started about noon on a Friday and rolled out to lock up all done and ready to roll by 7:30 that night. So... about 7-8 hrs.
And...
IT ISN'T ALUMINUM! This bad ass set of miter cut stacks are all 10 ga stainless steel from Turbo to tips.
Glad you like them.:thumbsup:
