speedo re-calibration

replaced gears in the rear (see sig) how do i change my speedometer reading? how hard to change? $? thnks again

this whole " i swear officer my speedo only said 70" thing is getting old

Thgis explaines how to do it on a 4x4 ranger and i got the np208 with the same type of gear

You shouldn't need to pull the drive gear in the tailshaft unless it's stripped. Just pull the cable and take the driven gear into ford and tell this if the speedo is reading low. You will need a driven gear with one or two more teeth.
