i installed a new clutch it my truck last night the old one was wore slam out and quit pulling so i finally got it all back together with a new clutch kit fired the truck up and it would not go in gear the clutch was not disengaging so i hoped out of the truck and checked my fluid and the master was bone dry put me some dot3 in and i fired the truck up again still cant go in gear the clutch is not disengaging from the fly wheel i can lay under it and see the pressure plate being pushed in but its not pushing in far enough to fully disengage the clutch it worked fine before just had a wore out disc

so my ? is did my slavecylinder go bad over night or do i just need to bleed it or do i have other issues?

BLEED IT

suggestion...

READ the tech articles...and FAQ's tons of info in there...also add your truck details to you signature so when asking a question we know some details about your ride...

But ya, likely needs bleeding...good luck...not fun
