ok yes the injectors are grey! so i geuss this is my next move. like i said before this truck looks like it was a garaged toy hualer. i'm just the lucky one that gets to put it back to better than it was. i really look at this truck as the one i want to keep for awhile.from what i've read the bb's are what i want but they are not making them till the end of this year, so if i caint wait till then i need sugestions
Do u have any rough idle, excessive smoke out the exhaust?
What u can do in the mean time is remove the injectors and have them pop tested to see how the pop off pressure (how much it takes to unseat the needle or "pop" open) and spray pattern. That will tell u if they are good, leakers, etc. While they are out, if the pressures are off u can temporarly fix the pop pressure by adding shims to make them a match set. A matched set will make a difference. I will also say, have the truck timed. It'll help and with old injectors u can sort of gain a little by compensating the timing a little for now.
New injectors arent available yet, but keep in contact with Typ4 or Angem for pop tested new BB code injectors. Get on the list because it is taking a while for new ones to become availabe...who knows by the time u are ready they may be as well.
