Shaking at idle

My truck has had a shake at idle for most of the time I've had it... it just doesn't idle smoothly.

If I open the driver's side door and stand next to the truck, I notice about half an inch or more (on a bad day) of up/down motion. Very rarely, the idle is silky smooth.

Sound like injectors? I'm not getting any air leak symptoms at startup.

Could be a small air leak. Are any of your return lines looking cracked/brittle?

Start truck and let warm up or drive it to temp, then start cracking the line nut on the injectors one at a time untill you find a injector that dose not change anything when you crack the nut........... Jim
