I'm selling my 94 super cap, long bed F250 2wd,but I'm not sure how much I should sell it for. As far as I can tell the truck is solid after having drove it for 9 months, everyday, and 6k miles. The truck currently has about 219k miles on it. I believe the engine is solid as is the body. Frame is spotless. It's not a pretty truck being an XL in blah white and no chrome. Paint is good.
To my knowledge the only thing not solid on the truck is the transmission and/or torque converter need to be rebuilt/ replaced. I really don't think it's that transmission needs to be rebuilt, in my humble amateur opinion. Keep getting code 63.
Also, I currently have 10-ply mud tires on the back with 90% tread and brand new highway tires up front. I may or may not sell it with those tires. What would be the price difference, you figure.
I was thinking of asking $2300 with the tires and $2000 with just decent tires.

road trip!
You could rent a little eco car if you don't have or can't borrow one (35-40 mpg) but would need someone to drive the car back if you take your own.stay at a cheap motel just before AR.grab his pickup, drop off the rental, checkout the hot springs! head back to Chattanooga to check out ruby falls, grab another cheap motel after, then easy sailing back into NC the next day.
hot springs + ruby falls + a new pickup = perfect weekend!

2k is fair.she's a 21 yr old 2wd truck with 200k on the clock and transmission issues.2k is still fair because it's rust free and a diesel.

That's what I thought. I'd really prefer to keep the tires because you just can't get your money back on tires selling them. At least, that's how I see it
