him pushing on the brake, and the right front brake hose popping right in front of me and squirting brake fluid everywhere.

I agree with that LCAM. Its hard to buy anything these days that isn't a POS and/or made in China

The last Checker/Schucks part I bought was a front brake caliper for my Toyota many years ago. The day I bought it I went to use the brakes in traffic and the seals blew completely out and the petal went to the floor I was very lucky I didn't get in a wreck.

I have teflon braided lines on the front of mine. no more hose failures, and they were on the 79 2wd before that.I swear it
is worth the extra expense

I use those on my Toyota and dirtbikes. They are awesome
