Sales help needed

Finally decided to do a 12v Cummins swap into my F350. Checking for advice as to whether I would get more cash from selling my engine out of my 350 whole or selling it separate from my Banks Sidewinder? I have seen for sale ads done both ways. Which should bring me the most $$$? I need to try to recoup some of the cost of the parts truck.

I'd sell them seperate - out here I usually get $700-$1000 for a turbo kit and $600 - $800 for a motor that still runs

Engine and turbo probably less together than serperate...

JMHO....if a guy needs a turbo but has a good runner and visa versa...dead /dieing engine and good turbo...

Hard to say...

Advertise both ways....which ever works best...

it would be kinda tough selling an idi engine with 400k miles on it for over a grand.banks turbo or not.
i think you'll have to split 'em up.probably 1k for the banks and $500 for the engine.though i wouldn't pay that much for an idi with so many miles on it,someone might if you can show 'em it runs.otherwise she's as good as scrap if you try and sell it pulled with 400k.

really,if you can afford the multi thousand dollar cummins swap,the little bit you'd get back in used idi goods probably isn't much of a concern lol.list it all,and take anything reasonable around 1kish.

The 400,000 miles is a lot of miles. Is this the miles on the engine you are selling? Also what turbo is on that engine. Could be several differant Banks turbos. I'm thinking because of the truck year that you have a late sidewinder wastegated turbo. Thats the one most want. The other Banks systems are non gated and wont demand as much money. The signiture states the truck is down for repairs. Why is a question most will ask. Answer these questions and there will be better answers given here because we have a better understanding of what you have to sell.

Actually truck is no longer down for repairs. Been finished for a couple of months now. Truck was down for electric fuel pump and rebuilt IP. Never updated the sig though. It is a "Sidewinder" and it is wastegated.
