This certainly isn't an IDI, but it is technically considered a truck for some unknown reason. It's a 1984 (maybe 1985) Mitsubishi Montero. I keep this in Maine, on an island six miles off the coast.

It lived a number of years in upstate NY. It was originally bought in Georgia, and was in Alaska for a bit. My sister gave it to me when it quit running. I replaced the gas tank (leaked more gas than it burned), and the fuel filter, and it runs like a champ. It's the perfect vehicle for that island.

I bought a chevy luv one time. It about broke in half when I put it on the lift to put a muffler on. The lift was a hydraulic 4 arm. When it hit the top of stroke and jarred the truck the front and rear bumpers both dropped as the gap between the box and cab started to open up. I couldn't get it down off that lift fast enough.

It did settle out nice on the floor. That truck was never driven on the road again.

Not an IDI, but still a Ford. Got this sitting behind the shop for parts for one I am restoring. It's got a complete flathead and trans. The body is shot though.
