Rumor has it....Moose Injectors Rally Debut!

Yup, I'm hopeing to have a set (the 1st actually) of Moose Injectors at the Rally for a pop test (if Ron or Gary can squeeze a tester in their trucks), installation, and a dyno run. I'm not going to be 100% moose, as I'll still have the DPS IP, but I'm not real happy with the less than stellar characteristics of the DPS stage ones.

You'll see the difference between the DPS "*******" and the Moose "misters".

I was going to wait, but I couldn't help but spill the beans.

Well I can't speak for Gary, but my "Fee" for testing Moose Misters will be an equal set in return.

Heath, I will be bringing the tester since I have enough storage now, having upgraded to the old Toshmahal, to even bring a second kitchen sink.

Honestly, the difference is unknown. The IP Mel has developed with his builder has proven far and away a performance improvment and his quality is second to none. DPS's stage 1's trade flow for atomization. This hurts efficiency, starting ease (especially when cold), smoke, and fuel economy. Plus it idles pretty rough as well.

I'm stepping out into the unknown with these. Someone's gotta be the 1st, and they certainly cannot be worse than the only other IDI performance injector option....DPS.

yea thats kinda pricey, but if the work good and make good power then there worth every penny of it, i like to see things comming in for idi's

stage ones for a PSD are close to $2,000. still a lot cheaper but it looks like were making it to the point of running out of options for enough air for all of this!

i think someone needs to be trying a twin turbo setup off the manifolds or cummins turbo as other figure out the fueling issues. i would be all over this if i had the know how and money to get it rolling.

as long as they can tell me the volume of fuel is the same with the finer atomization, I don't care what they done to it.
my only problem is, if I run fuel cocktails, I will be ruining a good pump and injectors.
so i I do get the setup, I will have to resist the WMO feedings......

same here, i often run wmo blends (filtered and inspected very well might i add) and like that freedom. but if i run a moose pump and/or injectors i dont think mel will stand by it at all will he(cant blame him if he won't)

i won't even go there, warranty issues that is, if I ran anything other than straight #2 with additives that have been OK'd by stadyne(sp) already.
