My buddy from work showed me a video of this just the other day. Since I'm just across the river from Quebec, one of these days I ought to get over there and check one out in person! And yes, one of the few good things out there... aside from ski hills if you're into that... They've also got a drag strip close to Ottawa that some people I know go to.
My dad always says that the only god thing that came from France was the metric system! lol

I drove up from Buffalo, NY for this year's Rodeo. The races and trucks were excellent, there were a few cool people in the crowds, but for the most part the crowd was more interested in getting drunk and starting trouble than they were watching the races. And by crowds I mean pudgy pot bellied chicks and either flat biller dudes or wanna be cowboys.

lol somehow that doesn't surprise me that the crowd was like that... Around Ottawa, a LOT of people go to Quebec to drink b/c 1. its cheaper and 2. min. age is 18 compared to 19.
