Does the fuel return line have to go to top of tank? Or could it be towards the bottom?
I feel that you're right. There is very little (if any) pressure in the return line that comes back to the tank. I'm not sure if it would back feed or not, but I do think that a full tank may put enough pressure into the return system to back up the returning fuel and either cause the engine to run poorly or even make the engine quit running.I am just guessing here, but I would imagine if you returned fuel mid tank or lower, it would back feed the return line due to the gravity, but I could be completely wrong.
