Rear Freeze Plugs

Knew I should have replaced them when I had the engine out, but they looked so good...
Will try to peek up from the clutch dust cover to verify later today, but wondering if anyone knows where to buy them?
Pretty sure the water is coming from there, it's running through the vent slots on the dust cover.
Can't think of anything else that would send coolant out the back of the engine like that.

Heard a call in radio program claiming that many of today's replacement freeze plugs are not adequately oversized. Something to consider...

If you do go ahead with the freezeplug installation remember that that installation is critical. Its apparently way too easy to do it wrong, and quite difficult to do it right. A poor installation is not a good plan, will not last.

There is a specific tool which makes this correct installation easier. Sadly, this tool falls in the "unobtainium" catagory. Its about to the point where you have to have one made if you want to have one.

Long ago I saved a dimensional drawing of that freezeplug installation tool to my hard drive. A good shop should be able to produce one. I'd be happy to send that drawing to you, to anyone needing it. If you would like a copy please PM me with your email address.
