Hey all,

The parts truck I hauled home has a semi float rear (bricknose f250 351w) If it's a 10.25 do the gears and or the pinion yoke interchange? I know it's unlikely but I wanted to check.

If it’s a 10.25 internally it would be the same as your rear, pinion will be different because they use a different ujoint series on the gasser driveshafts iirc

Full floater has big ass hubs that stick out like a sore thumb like 4" or so with bolts around the end. Semi has a flat axle shaft end that doesn't. Other than that the pumpkin looks exactly the same. Like thewespaul said the pinion is different because of the gasser engine.

It's definitely a semi float. Axle code is B5 which I have seen listed as EITHER Dana 60 or 10.25

If the only visible difference is on the wheel end I'll compare it to my full floater.

Thanks for the help guys!
