really really need help!

Ok in my dads 89 model 7.3 he burned all 8 glow plugs out, well there is a guy who has a store on ebay that sells motorcraft glow plugs for 89 dollars a set, but he wont e mail me back, the only way i we can buy them off of the internet is using money order, so i went around to all the parts stores here all advanced auto carries is autolight, autozone carries autolight but can order bosch for 9.99 each are these plugs alright??, and orieley has autolight but can order motorcraft for 18.99 each i will not pay that much, but we got to have some glow plugs im tired of either being sprayed into it every morning

I'm suprised that you have to spray ether in it this time of year. It 70 degrees plus here in the mornings. Mine will fire right up.
But that doesn't answer your question.

The safest way to buy from ebay sellers is thru PayPal. Any other way you might get hooked for the money and not get the part(s).

You sure as hell don't want the Autolite GP's. Bosch is the second choice. Motorcraft/Beru is the best.

Strange that your Advance Auto doesn't carry Beru. I haven't gotten any in about a year but my Advance carried the Beru's for about $9.99 iirc.

if your dad's truck is hard to start without gp's first make sure no air is getting in the fuel system (return lines or filter being the likely culprits) and second bump the timing a little more advanced (be sure your "cold advance" solenoid is moving on the pump first).

if you glow it it will usaully fire up rather easily has new fuel filter on it more than likely it origanal pump and injectors, i did advance the timing some already it seemed to help with cranking and power, it made a noticable increase in power

I could have gotten you a set of motorcraft plugs for $45, maybe less. O'reilly's sells them for $5.60 each. I just returned a set I didn't need, had air in the lines, not a GP problem.
