Earlier tonight we went out to eat and when we came back out the truck wouldn't start. No GP light, no dome light, nothing except dim tail lights. The dome light wouldn't even come on if you turned it on at the switch. I got out and made sure the battery cables hadn't wiggled loose and they hadn't, so I called a buddy to come give us a jump or something. Not two minutes later the dome light came on so I turned the key and it fired up like nothing was wrong. I should mention that the previous owner wired in a push-button for the starter, and we did replace the throwout bearing last night, but that probably has nothing to do with it. What I am wondering is what could cause this, since when the lights finally came back on, it's not like I was wiggling wires or anything? Is this just a random incident, or a sign that something is on it's way out?:dunno

Its a ground issue. Check both ends of the ground cables for something loose.
