Nope no swapping, it's all factory. The vacuum nipple just has a great plastic ring/tube on it... I think it's there to keep anyone from thinking that a vacuum line goes on it. Just no torque converter lockup, I even put in a different / better torque converter to see if that was the problem.

It is a MAP sensor, but it is actually reading ambient air pressure, to account for the diesel having different power levels associated with higher elevations.

The transmission computer will adjust the shift points based upon barometric pressure readings from this sensor.

According to the EVTM for a 92 model, there is the electrical plug going in to it, and it is open to the atmosphere at the port.
