I am currently swapping my 6.9l out with a 7.3 psd and am going to use my t19 until i have enough money for a nice clutch and a zf5. I am wondering if anyone has bolted a 6.9l clutch to a 7.3 psd flywheel and ran a t19?

That won't work. Balance is off.
You need the psd flywheel and pressure plate with the t19 clutch disc.

Well that is perfect because I have a pressure plate and flywheel for the 7.3 but the clutch disk springs fell apart. Thanks for the info

What? I will confirm if this works when I put it together. Would be a nice piece of information.

Not trying to be a pain but I don't believe that you read my posts. I am going to try a 7.3 powerstroke with a 7.3 psd flywheel and clutch and a t19 and the friction plate from the 6.9.

Totally read it...totaly understand...still

W T F....

is all....there is a PS section for these PS queztions

He's not really asking a psd technical question... Kinda a mix of Idi and stroke but the swap section might give him some good indication on what will work

I'm intrigued, please post up with how this turns out.

i know that the t-19 to ZF5 have different diameters on the clutch guts.
that said, i dont think the t19 disc will work with a psd pressure plate.

ive always just saved up to do the job as correct as i can.

Maybe redrill PSD flywheel to use t19 clutch. Does the t19 bell housing line up on a PSD?

a clutch shop should be able to look at some pieces and figure out something that will work for you....but as easy as it would be to just put a zf in, it would fix two problems at once.
