I'm now getting three codes from the trans on the 93.

14- Tach sensor

29- VSS signal error

62- TC clutch failure

I know the tach sensor is about $50 from the dealer. How much would a VSS cost? Also, would fixing them help with the TC clutch failure error?

Change out the sensors then clear the codes. If you don't have TC lock up code 62 will come back. Most likely the TC clutch is fried. Symtoms for a failed TC cluth would be. Chattering when applying or no lock up at all.

That was my plan... Changing both sensors and seeing what happens then...

How do you guys feel, about the manual TC lockup mod?

I see no problem with it. The big thing is not to leave it locked at low speeds.
