If this works, here are a couple pictures of my Socialist rides. The one with the hood up is the one I am fixing up.The red and other white are parts car....even though the red might get resurected......Found out I can get 130HP under the hood without any fabrication. And in a 1800Lbs car that equates to about a hihg 13 low 14 second quarter mile.....hee hee hee.Ricer beware!Could put it in the bed of the Enterprise when I go to the drag strip to stomp some ricer but....Beat them with the Diesel and it that doesn't kill their egos,go out there with a Yugo and embarise them even worst.

im guessing 130 hp is about double the stock output! :rotflmao so what all is involved? ;Sweet

actually triple the current HP.As for involvement......

take a 1.5L bottom end, drop a 1.1 or 1.3L top end on it which rases the compression to around 9.3/1.You can get a bunch of different cams for these little engines but they are all available over in Europe.Although I havent' found one yet,I was told you can get a dual 2bbl intake for these engine which is only needed if you want to turn them 8-9000rpm.then the rest is just normal stuff. The 1.5L bottom end will bolt right in place of the 1.1L stocker.Although,I haven't found but 1 person so far that has hot rodded a Yugo, all the above has been used in the Fiat cars....which pretty much,a Fiat and a Yugo are the exact same car.
