oil loss through smoke?

Could you be more specific about how you hooked up the RDT? Was the truck smoking before the injector change? Did that injector change make any difference in the way it was smoking?

RDT set up is a heater hose running from the timing cover ran under the body running to just in front of the tire it's also got some stainless steel wool in the tube to condense the oil. Injectors had no change one of the injector is leaking at the line but I have to just seal that

I would take the steel wool out, and what size tube are you using. and when you say smoke do you mean oil vapor. how much oil is coming out of the RDT.

Heater hose (especially with steel wool) may be too small over that distance. May be causing crank case pressure and pushing oil past places it wouldn't normally go. If you leave the oil fill cap off, does the smoke change after a couple minutes?

I'll do my best to video tomorrow in the morning and post if yall wouldn't mind waiting I'll video black smoke than grey smoke a the rdt
