Since 4x2 ZF's have turned into freakin' Unobtanium plated in gold, I'm wondering, how hard would it be to get a lakewood bellhousing, and run a NV4500?

I know this guy has had them in the past for $1200 rebuilt, no core. e-bay This is the first time I checked and he didn't have one.

What kind of prices are you finding? I have a bent reverse fork and downshifting into 3rd doesn't happen anymore.

Generally, I've been seeing them rebuilt for 1200 + core, and a core charge of 500. I just want to find one in a junkyard and rebuild it. NV4500's are a lot more common in the yards than a ZF for a diesel.
