New to the 7.3 need help to keep her going stong!

Ok i suck at spelling so i dont need the raz of how i spell. the old man got a 85 6.9 new back then and i got it in 2003 with 900,and change sold it in 2010 well over a milloin oh her and had tears in my eyes watching it drive away! what a great truck!! just was costing me to much at tthe time to keep her. anyway just came across a 91 7.3 crew cab 4x4 and jumped on it knowing it was the last year i could get a idi, or so i think anyway thought in 92 they went to powerstroke. anyway i read there is a coolent issiue with the 7.3 what should be done? also any other ideas you guys have would help i want to make her last. like my 6.9 thanks , Matt

I think one color of coolant is more prone for cavitation if thats what youre talking about. Not sure which coolant it is. Anyway, making it last isnt hard with an old IDI. Great, long lasting motors. Just do regular maintenance on it and youll be fine.

Not exactly. Technically any color can be used, long as you add sca.
But fleetcharge any many others come with the correct sca already in it.
