So my wiring worked out good for ya? How did you get it mounted?

Well actually i didnt use the wiring from you, i didnt see no need to swap the wiring, but thanks once again for the harness im sure i will find a use for it one day,

The heater controls was the same between the truck along with the fuel switch valves EXcept there

backwards front=rear rear=front

Then all i had to do was splice tha gauges and the lights and all that junk in it wasnt a real bad job just really time consuming

Also i had to make mounts and drill some holes a little creativity and drilling dome holes and it wasnt to bad, honestly now that i think about it was worth it because i got this whicked awesome dash and working gauges;Sweet

Nice! I always liked the bricknose interiors the most. They seemed to be the most durable. My last Ford was an 89 super cab that got a 92+ front clip. Loved that truck, just needed 4 doors.

Yea i also have always loved them, i have thought about swapping to the OBS clip and bed, but i kinda like the slantnose front end its pretty mean looking

But the OBs is mean looking too, it would just be alot of work to do

Looks real good. Love the OBS the 87-91 dash/interior and 92 up front clips. You got a spare 87-91 diesel dash harness kicking about? lol ;Poke

Whats OBS?

SWS

It is something borrowed from the Chevy crowd, but as with anything Ford-related borrowed from anywhere it got messed up along the way - the Chevy boys call their '88 to late '90s trucks OBS (old body style), then the '73-'87 are known as OOBS (older old body style). Actually they go by the cab style, and so within the OOBS there is an "unofficial" OOOBS designation that refers to the '73-'80 trucks with the more squared-off front clips but it is not used very often as these trucks have the same cabs as the '81-'87 trucks. Now applying that logic to Ford trucks, if we call the '92-'96 trucks "OBS" then technically all '80-'96 trucks are OBS as they share the same cab. Calling the '92-'96 only OBS, and having other names for the earlier models that use the same cab seems kinda stupid to me - I personally refer to them as slantnose ('80-'86), bricknose ('87-'91) and aero ('92-96) - IMHO that last one is more fitting regarding the front clip than "OBS", as these three terms describe the shape of said front clip whereas "OBS" has no useful meaning behind it... Just my 2c.
