need guidance

long story short my truck linkage is apart and I wasnt the one who took it all apart....i have read the clutch linkage section in my haynes manual a couple times and i think I know what i am doing. how would i go about putting the pushrod back into the master cylinder? And do i need to bleed the system after? (do i use that brake dot 3 fluid to do that?)
