my VE pump is missing parts, help IDing please

motor is from a 93 d250
12 valve ve pump intercooled with 170k on it

heard it run at the yard and it ran great with some dripping at the pump. I paid a deposit and they pulled everything and this is how i got it

missing some sort of plug/adapter on the back of the pump at the top. you can see some sort of gear (star wheel?) in there

tried looking at a couple parts diagrams and one of them showed this thing possibly being associated?

mine have a rubber vent there. thats all

thanks, looks like there is a vent fitting that the rubber piece attaches to that threads in there

vent fitting - bosch 1 463 386 301
cap - bosch 1 460 558 303
