My buddy at the scrap yard just spotted a Dana60

My friend is the scale master at a scrap yard. Someone just scrapped an 86' F350 4x4. He said bring $150 cash. I get to pull it. If it is the real deal, I am going to cut it out above the spring hangers and panhard bar and cut the pitman arm. In other words, I am taking everything. Crossing my fingers, gotta go!

And I thought I scored picking up a D60 that was missing the carrier and gears for $350. (I need to regear it anyways and I have a carrier in the garage.)

It was a TTB with a small block. It sat pretty high but no D60.

i paid 300 bucks for a 90 f350 4x4 cab and chassis with mechanics bed about a year ago. i took the axles and scraped the rest. netted me $734.00. i dont think i did to bad on the deal.
