Hmm... never thought of that technique. I always end up standing by the tracks for hours waiting for a train to come by to get a photograph. Now I realize, all I have to do is get you to wreck within striking distance, and I can drastically cut my wait time. LOL

:D

Sorry.. .definitely not trying to make light of a serious situation. Just goes to remind everyone of how we must never trust lug nuts to go unverified.

There is a difference between someone pulling that scam and the driver behind not paying attention. If i am ready to pull out and i move to go but i see something that makes me stop suddenly, its the responsibility of the person behind me to be paying attention. He said they were in a rotary so im guessing that means traffic circle. A lot of those are amazingly confusing, especially if you havnt been in that particular one. Just based on that alone, i would guess the other driver was trying to figure out where to go and his mother was not paying attention and hit them and then didnt want to own up to the responsibility.

I wasn't in the car, so I can't vouch either way. my fiance (who was in the truck with my mother) confirms this much... There was no traffic in the rotary/traffic circle... this lady came to a stop, went halfway into the traffic circle / rotary, then stopped again.... why she stopped? no one knows... and no one ever will. was it a brake stand? possibly.

and please don't make idle threats about hitting me.

I'm going to have to stop driving on Thursdays. One week later to the day, I'm in the Scarlet Moose coming up on a narrow bridge. It's dark, and I see there is somebody coming the other way, so I stop. It's tight, but the other guy can get by. Do you think he would slow down? NOOOooooooo... he goes flying by and SMACK! His mirror hits mine. BUT... there is a happy ending. His mirror is shattered on his GMC. The Scarlet Moose... unscathed. :rotflmao

Wednesday is bad in Ohio. The Son-in-Law got his Dodge pickup rear ended when stopped at a lite in a 35 MPH zone by a kid going to school. The kids Neon was totaled, shoved his engine clean back to the firewall, hood thru the windshield stopped by the steering wheel, lifted the Dodge a foot up in the air. Thank God the kid didn't get hurt, but I don't think he'll be on the phone anymore while driving, only 5 ft. of skid marks. Figured he was going 55-60 when he hit. Air bag and seat belt must have saved his life. Gene said he seen him coming and stepped on the brakes real hard, saved his truck from hitting the cars in front of him, damage to his truck was just the rear bumper.
