Its a direct under. I was/or maybe still am going to mount it backwards for a over/direct unit. It has a 28% underdrive/overdrive depending on how you mount it. It came from a 1987 6.9 parts truck.

Can you post a picture of the mounting bracket? What are the gas tank mods that need to happen?

It is just a flat 1/2'' steel plate that mounts to the crossmember. FYI this thing needs to go! The gas tank mods only apply to regular cab trucks.
