Help!,
I bought a set of the gooseneck 6x9 mirrors to replace the small ones on my truck. I got the flat gasket that went behind the brace and these mirrors came off a 350 cab chassis.
I had my bodyshop install them and after they were installed, I noticed that the top of the door is pulled out. After looking into it more, it seems like the angle is wrong on the top bracket. I saw another truck this weekend with the same mirrors and this truck had a plastic grey wedge piece under the top braket that changes the angle and that is what I need.
I went to the local ford dealer and after he looked at what he thought was the right mirrors, he told me that all the parts are discontinued. I tried to search online with the part number i was given by the ford dealer and could not even find the part number listed.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get these parts or what I can use in its place?
