Checked the mail today and found a box I've been expecting.. Thanks to h2odrx, I now have some genuine Motorcraft/Beru GP's for my 7.3!

Since we changed the work schedules around, I now have Mondays off. That gives me all day Monday, at the locomotive shop, to get them done! I'll also have the expertise of two diesel mechanics, if I need it. The railroad used to have a Ford diesel at the shop, so they also have experience with them too.

BTW: They are replacing the injectors in WW 572.. All 16 of them. I'll try to snag a couple of pics. Those injectors are huge, compared to ours! Also, WW 709 was involved in an altercation with a freight car and lost. The entire Conductor's side of the cab was peeled-off. The president of the railroad forbid me to take any pics of it.

Ouch! Will they repair it, or sell it? As for the injectors, yes I've had them out at the B&O Museum when I helped get WM 236 going. Had the heads off too, and the bad back to prove it. I've always wondered how you would test those injectors. It would take a bit of a test stand.
