That's my 1948 8n Red Belly.
I'm south of Indianapolis IN, if we were closer I had a WMO idea. Oh well.

Ah OK, no wonder.. I have a '54 Ferguson TO30 that looks virtually identical. From my readings on the 8n, early Fergusons were pretty much clones.

I run 100% waste hydraulic oil in the summer. (running it right now)

Minimal smoke, if any at all. Keeps the return line o rings well lubed

two cycles of the glow plugs and she pops right off at 30 - ish degrees.

I had a bit of hydraulic oil once, it's was nice. Like tranny fluid, to me. Wish I had a good source for more.
