For you folks living up north it may not be a problem, but my steering wheel has started getting rough. I have already tried the leather treatments sold at the auto parts with out success. I have not been able to find a better one in the salvage yard.

Last weekend I bought a can of Neat-Lac Leather Finish from a saddle and leather supplier. Just wipe it on with an old wash cloth, and the steering wheel looks almost new.

My steering wheel was rough... cleaned it as best I could and put a $40 genuine leather steering wheel cover on it. Love it.

The stock wheel was too skinny in my hands... now I feel like I have a truck in my hands again.
