It doesn't look too bad, I think if you were good at designing stuff you could probably build one that good at home like OldBull and a couple of the better efforts on the Mercedes forums. If you think it's a good tool, the 200 psi steps are a little much but you could certainly estimate to an accuracy of +-100 psi with no problem. A true matched set is +-50 psi though from what I hear, +-200 is acceptable but at the edge of acceptable limits and will give you a rougher running engine than you really want.

I just got an email from them, they also have a gauge for 50psi steps, 0 to 3,000 psi, I think I am going to buy it, the price is right, I hope I don't buy junk

It might be junk but... Getting the pressure gauge with the closer calibration is going to work better for you. Actually just buying a differant gauge will make this a good deal too... ebay has any gauge you could want for this tester...:sly
