Mike, an intercooler will help you with EGT's , they are very efficient under load you can get down to 20* above ambient temp, If ya got bigger injectors all that extra fuel will cause high egt's . I think puttin one in would be a ***** though

Depends on which one you get.
Some guys are using the '99 up I/C's and say they are great while others swear by Hypermax...........

At the current time I'm not looking to make 400+ RWHP. A set of Baby Swamps would be nice but I know full well that would also involve a call to BTS. I was just pondering the fact that you see quite a few folks in the 94-97 class adding intercoolers, its a 750-1000 dollar mod and I wondered what there was to gain. Currently my EGT's run no more than 1150*F when I'm pulling the snot out of it. I think I can find a better place to toss a grand than an on an intercooler, at least until I can no longer control my EGT's.

Thanks guys,

Mike
