Intake tube size?

I'm running a 4" outlet cone filter, then I think 3 1/2" (might be 3") to the turbo. This is one place where bigger is better, up to about 4" I'd say.

Incidentally, a small coffee can makes a nifty 4" straight pipe fitting when you need one.

Right now I plan on the elbow reducer to get from the turbo to a 3" coupler with a 3"-4" reducer into a 4" pipe into the filter and then my cowl hose which is already 4". This way it will be 4" from the cowl until just before the turbo. I just hope this looks/works as slick in real life as it does in my head.

This is the perfect elbow for the Factory turbo set up, 4" to 2.75" 90 degree bend.... But man they want a lot of cash for it

Wow, that would save me a two extra parts but still cost me $40+ extra dollars.
