Got a call from a buddy today asking for help after he just downgraded injectors in his 99 2500. He went from 250 down to 150 horse sticks because of driveability issues. After they tried to bleed the lines the lift pump stopped working and the truck blew a couple fuses. I had received a call after all of this happened so I ended up checking the relay that runs the aftermarket pump and the ign/ tigger wire was dead. I managed to jump the harness and once the lines were bled it would fire...

Problem is there is no throttle control, it'll start up, idle for a second or two and immediately shut down. A friend suggested replacing the crank sensor, which we are going to try tomorrow? But it seems very strange that the fuel pump circuit and other circuits would pop after an injector install.

What other sensors should I check, or rather what sensors will stop the motor from running if no signal is seen?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated,
Sean
