I'm curious about how diesel injectors are labeled. I'm seeing them advertised as anywhere from 30-150hp. Is this how much they make over stock injectors? Does the injector pump need to be bumped up to keep up with the new injectors? I'm sure if you start adding a whole lot of fuel you'd need the air to keep up with it. Is there a key or guide to figure out what you need? ie: How much fuel is needed to keep up with x lbs of boost or something like that. Thanx. NORM

BigNorm,

HP ratings depend on the manufacturer, legit ones in my opinion rate the total HP of the engine with the injector in it. The 2nd gen are bad about lift pumps killing injection pumps. If you plan much of an increase in HP from anything get a FASS system to replace the lift pump and a fuel pressure gauge to know what is going on as it happens. Call us if you have any quetiosn etc.
