I'm stumped

I am working on a 94 Idi Turbo. I replaced the shift shaft, steering box, rear axle seals and brakes, Now for some reason it won't start. The engine cranks but it will not fire. I have replaced the glow plug relay, All other accesories are working. Any clues as to wear to start? I do have power to the Glow plug relay. I forgot to add that the "wait to start" light does not come on.

check for the "click" of the fuel shutoff solenoid on the injection pump. Turn the key on and remove the wire from the pump. Touch the wire to the terminal. Here a "click"

Since you were working under the hood have you checked to be sure the wire FSS is still connected? It has a clip to keep it on the connector but I have seen them come off anyway.

No voltage to fuel shutoff switch

Ok, in the short amount of time I had to work on it yesterday I determined there is no voltage to the fuel shutoff switch. All of the other accesories work. All of the fuses are good. I don't have a wait to start light and the glow plug relay is good and there is 12 volts to the relay.

Any ideas on why I don't have voltage to the fuel shut off switch?

I've never had to trace that out so I can't help you there, but you can run a jumper from the battery to the fss temporarily to start it and get it going. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly to get ya going.

Sounds like you aren't getting power to the FSS or glow plug relay when to key on the ignition. I'd start at the ignition and trace things from there. Unfortunately, it's hard to help with a electrical issue like this over the internet.
