Long story short,after replacing my modulator on the C6 and swapping out my VRV for another one and making a bunch of adjustments to it,this morning I walked out to my van and noticed the air filter housing was blocking the kick down rod from working properly! 
I have never seen this mentioned before after a bunch of google searching many various forums, and figure posting this might save someone else some headache.
My van was having a really hard 1-2 shift and usually wouldn't shift unless I left off the accelerator pedal. I was about to go to some junkyards and buy a few VRV's, which I might still do anyways lol
C6 shifts awesome now!!
