I'm guessing this is an issue with the Carter type electric lift pump starting to get weak , but thoughts?

It seems to be driving fine including at highway speeds, but then again it needs less pressure when wider open.

False alarm, maybe. It was parked facing into a moderate headwind gusts. So maybe it was just sucking more air, especially due to the exposed air filter setup just under the hood on the Banks turbo van kits. It's not doing it after driving to my next stop, away from the wind blowing on the front.

As funny as it sounds, I've noticed the same thing. I'll usually have more fuel pressure when I'm driving 65-70 than I do while driving 55-60. My Holley also seems to like to pump warmer fuel rather than colder fuel. 1 1/2 weeks back, when I made the first successful long drive since I started having fuel issues, I was getting 1-3 PSI on my gauge with the temps in the single digits. Last Sunday, the temps were in the 30s and I was getting 10-11 PSI for the whole drive.
