idi glow plug controller need help fast please

Davesaylor350, I know why they have the glow plugs wired up the way they do, wanna hear why?? It's because of emissions, if you have good compression and fuel flow, you wont need glow plugs but for the 1st cold star or if your engine really cold blooded.

I have seen the hot restart problem and its the injection pump.

When we got our truck we put the glowplugs on a manual switch. Engine had 220,000 miles when we got it, from 380-440 compression. 10 seconds on first start of the day. If its summer time we could go dirtbiking for hours, park it in the shade and come back and fire it right up with no glowplugs. A 20 minute drive should get the engine warm enough to not need glowplugs on a restart.
