for my truck in the sig, using a 7.3 with a T-19, do I need a self-centering throwout bearing like a ZF uses?

went to order one from NAPA and they asked me "Is yours self centering like on a ZF 5-speed?"

yeah... gonna tear down the truck just to look at the TB and take it in so they can order the part which takes 3 days to get in...

any transmission gurus want to chime in with information?

Its just a round bearing, am not sure about the self centering part.....

I would just tell them to get both, and then return the one that doesn't look right.
