I have a Ford F250 1999 with the 7.31 engine in it I want to upgrade the headlights can I swap out the present ones for a newer year of ford that would bolt up to my truck.

If it is a 99+ Superduty chassis truck, I believe the headlight assemblies are the same from 99-04. In 05 is when they changed the headlights, turn/marker lights and grill. In 03, they changed the headlight housing from one with a smooth mirror, and a faceted lens, to one with a clear, smooth lens and a faceted mirror to better direct the light. This is also the same year they changed the front turn signal lens from an amber lens with a clear light to a clear lens with an amber bulb. I have an 03, and the front look exactly the same as a 99 with the exception of the changes in lights. One thing is, if you are looking for a HID bold on upgrade, these housing (03-04) use a standard bulb, just like yours do. I am not sure that Ford has offered HID's in any truck from the factory yet.
