Heavy Duty Drop Brackets

Does anyone have or know where I can find Heavy Duty front I beam drop brackets?

Towcat has been helping (understatement) me work on my truck, he got the lift put on but now the front is all sorts of jacked up... I need to drop bracket for the front axle to level it out.

Does anyone have one or know where to find one?

P.S. It is a 6" to 7" lift on it

i don't know if they sell just the drop brackets without the kit, though...

No idea (never looked into lifting a truck), but if anyone wants to get an idea of what your truck looks like now...

it's been two weeks and my mechanics still hate me for taking the job.
the rears were not fun, the fronts were like wrestling a anaconda.
both of these guys got their wrenching skills from working on our military equipment in the Korean winters and summers. Anybody who have done a tour on the Korean penninsula will attest to the brutality of the seasons there.
add the fact they are grumpy old men, makes for an interesting workday here. Good thing I don't know conversational Korean or my ears be ringing from the nasty words they have for me daily.
I should have gotten the drop brackets in advance.

why dont you just modify the factory brackets? i have done a few like that and as long as you use 1/4 steel you will be fine.

neither of my fab guys want to get near the potential liability. I already pulled a set of brackets off another D50 front hoping they would be willing to make such an animal.

they won't do that to you. they know where my hard liquor is coming from.
btw. they found what was left of my bottle of Micheal Collins over the weekend when I was gone.

"Our insurance prohibits us from selling pieces of the kits... but, I have not met my quota for the day so, what the hell!!"

$40 + Tax and I have drop brackets!!


I am putting in the booze order now, whiskey, cognac and some additions will be here tomorrow!

if it was me id have a professional shop do it without telling them what its for id just tell them make it as heavy as possible

most professional welding shops around here won't strike an arc for less than $200 to start. I am lucky to know two of the best welders in the area and the collection of equipment that comes along with the skill. here's what the truck looks like this evening. it's not knock kneed anymore

Hey, those trucks look familiar Wreckles' truck certainly looks far better than the last time I saw her!!

I need to get my butt back down there...hopefully next week. I'm mostly recovered from the PITA that was that brake job
